These testing devices are suitable for the testing of all types of circular saw blades
wherever tension problems, or axial and radial runout can occur. Suitable for the
manufacture of new blades or for sharpening and repair services.
We offer 5 different device sizes: Precise testing of axial runout is only possible if the correct flange diameter is used.
The following flange diameter sizes are available: Checking tension: A simple is method is used to check tension. For example: The saw straightener attempts to press the saw blade manually. The amount of force to be exerted and the extent to which it is possible to press the saw hollow are judged according to the feel of the straightener. Feel is a subjective quantity. Instead of using our hands, we take 2 pneumatic cylinders which press the saw blade hollow with the aid of a pressure regulating valve which is able to measure the exertion of force. At the same time, a dial gauge indicates the value offset by 90°. The amount of tension a saw blade should have is impossible to stipulate due to the large number of opinions and different application involved. The values ascertained for a saw blade which has proven successful in operation should be recorded in the form of a table: Dimensions:
